A real Professional needs to be well-rounded

As you know, the more experienced the personnel, the better they cope
with various situations during working hours and such one perform more in
an equal period of time relative to an unskilled worker. But what if the staff
is well-rounded, what are the pros and minuses of this?
In my opinion, the main advantage of the well-rounded staff is, first of all,
versatility, because such an employee can perform tasks outside his main
specialty. In addition, such a specialist will be creative in achieving the
goals set. And in view of the great general knowledge, he will not face
difficulties when working.
Do not forget about the disadvantages that such an employee may have.
The most important of them is the high salary of this specialist, but besides
this, competition between companies for him.
I believe that the disadvantages characteristic of this specialist are not
significant, because a highly qualified specialist justifies the cost of his
labor with his skills and versatility in performing tasks.
Based on all of the above, I can conclude that a well-rounded specialist has
a greater advantage in getting a good job and a wider range of jobs offered
to him. The employer will always be glad to see a well-rounded and
qualified specialist in his company.
